My name is Donny Karpinen and I am 23 years old. I recently married Brittany Karpinen, who also sings in the band. Brittany and I were together for over 5 years (we met when I was 15) and we started singing together in church around that age. In December, 2011 I graduated from SouthEastern University with a degree in Practical Theology. I write music and I love creating. Call me old fashioned but I believe that music was created originally by God for God, the maker of all things. I sing passionately and confidently, as I believe God wants us all to. 2 Corinthians 3:4-6 says, "Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-- not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life."

My name is Brittany and I am 24 years old, married to my best friend Donny Karpinen, daughter of 2 loving parents, sister to 10 amazing siblings including Andrew Sward and Jeffrey Sward who are also in the band. I've been singing (in front of people) since I was about 14 years old. It has become a growing passion of mine since then. God has been pushing me and strengthening me since we've formed the band Cadence and continues to do so everyday and I am so thankful for what God has done for me and can't wait to see what's to come!
Carrie Karpinen

Hi, I'm Carrie. I am 19 years old. I love Jesus. I play drums, guitar and I like to surf. Donny is my older brother, which makes Brittany my sister-in-law... and in a weird way I think that somehow relates me to Andrew and Jeffrey. The family thing can get confusing sometimes. Unlike the Swards who have a trillion kids, Donny and I are the only siblings. Also, I like furry creatures.

Hi, this is me and this is my bio. I was born and raised in sunny South Florida. I graduated from Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, FL. I've always wanted to be a super hero.. And if I had to choose it would be Spiderman. Music has always been my passion ever since I was young and I watched my older brother lead worship in church. Around the age of 14 I decided to pick up the guitar, actually I learned my first song from Carrie Karpinen.
Jeff Sward

I'm Jeff, I play the bass, I surf, and I hope to die doing something awesome like sky diving, riding a shark, base jumping without a chute, etc... If I were stranded on an island and I could only have one thing, it would be a volleyball.
